Prayer for Forgiveness

 Dear God,

I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your grace and mercy. I acknowledge that I am not perfect, and I have made mistakes that have hurt others, as well as myself. I ask for Your forgiveness for my shortcomings and the times I have strayed from Your path.

Help me to forgive those who have wronged me. May I release any anger, resentment, or pain that I have been holding onto. Teach me to see beyond my hurt and to recognize the humanity in others. Grant me the strength to let go of grudges and to embrace a spirit of compassion.

Lord, I know that forgiveness is not always easy, but I trust in Your divine wisdom to guide me. Help me to remember that forgiveness is a gift I give to myself as much as to others. Allow me to find peace in letting go, so that I may move forward unburdened by the weight of past grievances.

As I strive to forgive, I also seek to be forgiven. I ask for Your guidance in making amends with those I have wronged. Help me to approach them with sincerity, humility, and a desire to heal our relationship. May my words and actions reflect my genuine remorse and commitment to change.

Thank You, Lord, for the love and forgiveness You offer me every day. May I extend that same grace to others, fostering healing and understanding in my relationships. Help me to cultivate a heart that is open to forgiveness and a spirit that seeks reconciliation.
